Synopsis

In a world driven by urgency and speed, this hands-on clay workshop invites you to pause, breathe and reconnect with the joy of making. Using Air-dry clay, we will shape simple decorative forms and carve and imprint zentangle-style patterns. These are calming, repetitive designs which invite mindfulness. No pressure to create perfection. Perfect for beginners and creatives.

FACILITATOR

Ujjwala Naik Goenka

Pottery Artist

With over 25 years of architectural practice in Singapore, Ujjwala’s journey into pottery began as a quiet exploration and has since evolved into a profound creative pursuit. Combining wheel throwing and hand-building techniques, she merges the precision of architectural design with the organic, tactile nature of clay. Each piece becomes an exploration of form, texture, and function—a dialogue between control and spontaneity. For Ujjwala, exploring pottery is a space of creative freedom and quiet joy, where each creation reflects a process of reflection, discovery, and deep connection to material and making.
